Some of the Vivate team took time out of the office last week to head down to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for a bit of creative fun. Carrie, Jack, Georgia and Ben were volunteering at the hospital’s Art Kart session keeping the children distracted with some arts and crafts.
The young patients can often be waiting for appointments for long periods of time and this can increase stress and anxiety levels before they see medical staff. The wonderful fundraising team facilitate these arts sessions to provide the children with something fun to do whilst they wait their turn. Our volunteers jumped at the chance to get involved and support the hospital and had a great time discovering their inner artists.
